Every morning when I wake up, my hands would automatically grope for my mobile phone and if you are like me who have more than 30 watsapp group chats .. you will know what I mean about the never stop beep beeps of messages.. some not necessary useful but once in a while will get not only interesting pictures but more so of the messages it contains some hilarious but thought provoking, taken mostly from the Net of course..
.... makes me ponder
Cheers..have a great weekend..
Hi Angie, very nice and meaningful quotes. It's true do not point finger at other or judge anyone cos nobody is perfect. Everyone of us somehow or rather sure got do mistake but as long as e realize and don't repeat again.
ReplyDeleteWhat goes around, comes around and some karma come instantly too.
Seriously, you joined more than 30 whasapp groups?? I joined 2 groups already very busy kpc-ing from morning till midnight. hahaha...Anyway we need to reduce stress too to have some smile to start our day.
Have a nice week ahead,regards.
Amelia
Hi Amelia, some of the quotes gives meaningful messages. It's true, sometimes we are busy judging other people and we forgot that people may also be judging us. So before judging others, I would usually look within myself.. am I worthy to give that judgement. Am I perfect myself?
DeleteAnd yes, I believe too, what you give out to the universe will surely come back to you. Life is like a boomerang. You do bad stuff, cheat or lies or betray people, somehow it will come back, some instantly and some in time.
I also like the quote, almost everyone thinks they are good person maybe just because they didn't kill or steal but they overlook that lying, betraying friends or hurting people with words or actions are greatest sins too. Some even have the audacity to think that heaven is waiting for them. Well it is always good to ask within ourselves, am I good enough to go to heaven? We are only human and we do make mistakes and I believe if one were to repent sincerely, forgiveness is always possible.
Ahaha.. oh yes, I have so many whatsapp group.. I don't even know how it came to be that but honestly, every now and then I will receive an add to a group. My family alone, we already have 3, with my siblings more and my involvement in voluntary work and NGO add more. Luckily I don't have to response to all of them.If not, I'd be wearing a sling on my hand...hahaha
Angie
Having 3 whatsapp chat groups has made my mobile phone very busy. I turn them into silent mode.
ReplyDeleteWhen I am busy working, my friends are busy texting. So contradictory.
But we can find some gems from these messages.
hi rainfield, it's true whatsapp group makes our life more interesting, less lonely as it enable us to make contact with friends and even enable us to have a group instant discussion. On the other hand, it can also make us so busy reading and texting back and it waste a lot of our time and even forget to communicate with friends seating just in front of you...hahaha..
Deletebut yes, sometimes we'd get useful messages..and that's priceless ..

Being Near You......
ReplyDelete'Neath velvet cloth of night and shadows,
my heart confessed its thoughts to the wind.
I could feel your smile from a distance
with the touch of your closeness profound.
The sun reached behind a fading sky,
so the moon could take its proper place.
Day to darkness, brightened by the stars,
leaving upon the blue waters
a shimmering portrait of your face.
You, with all your savoring sweetness,
tenderly pierced the walls of my soul
as you wove a new tapestry with
the golden threads of your hope and love.
Yesterday you offered me courage,
today you endowed me with your strength.
Every moment together, a gift.
Every day a celebration of life.
How lovely the music of your heart.
You are the air I breathe, sound I hear
and the spirit that gently moves me.
I don't wish for the moon, I have the stars.
With warm thoughts,
From a Gem stone collector.
On distant shores I stand and gaze,
DeleteOut there to sea into the haze,
The silent clouds drift high in space,
I beg of them please haste their pace,
As I peered into the misty morn to see,
who might that be and lo and behold there
are my eyes playing tricks on me?..
'Neath cascading waters.
ReplyDeleteYesterday’s hope is a mystery
walking a hidden line,
I hold tight in my throat
the name covered thru mists of time,
with beauty raging in a torrent,
below me, tell me when to release
as my faith cascades over,
this roaring masquerade.
Just thoughts from a water bearer.
