Have not touched my camera lately apart from just randomly shooting. It is not the same as in really taking photos you see. At least that's what I think. Yeah, have gone a little lazy I guess.
As I was browsing through the thousands of pictures that I've taken a little way back - landscape mostly, some macro and some so-called portraits, I discovered that I've taken some nice pictures which I've totally forgotten. A couple I took with my digital camera.
Have adjusted the colours on 2 of the pictures into black and white - yeah changing what's real. Change is inevitable in our lives, so let's freeze time through these pictures.
These were taken from Strawberry Garden Resort in Kundasang, Ranau. Hence, the strawberries. Too bad they weren't in season but I managed to capture some...

Hi Ammelia
Deletethanks for the lovely comments. :) I too love the black and white.
Sweet and surreal don't you think so?
Thanks for dropping by and you too have a lovely weekend. Take care..:)
Stayed there once, it belongs to (Ian Augustine)my ex squadron mate's uncle. The maitre de is a wizard in the kitchen. The strawberry ice cream is addictive.
ReplyDeleteHi hobbit1964
Deletehey, haven't seen you in a while. I noticed you have not updated your blog for a while now :p. Must have been busy no? :)
The Strawberry Garden resort is a lovely place isn't it. Too bad was not able to sample their ice cream as it was out of stock then.:( Yes, I've heard of its 'out of this world delicious' fame. LOL. Did manage to buy some preserved strawberries though.
Thanks for dropping by and stay cool. :)
My family stayed there for a couple of days not too long ago but most of the strawberry plants were young and no fruit sighted. The refreshingly cool breeze was great for a change. KK is too hot.
ReplyDeleteHi de engineur
Deletemy family and I rented one of the chalets sometime end of October and we were informed that stawberries were not in season. But I managed to macro shoot some tiny ones..lol.
The place is nice, cool and fresh but I would have preferred somewhere with a view of Mt Kinabalu. That time we didn't have a choice as all the other chalets were packed and those not were too expensive. Next time, maybe can stay at Kinabalu Pine Resort as it has glorious views of Mt Kinabalu.
